Cummins Inc. Promotes Sherry Aaholm to Chief Digital Officer

Moving on from the CIO role after 13 years, Sherry Aaholm will be taking on the newly established role of Chief Digital Officer at Cummins Inc. Awarded Computerworld’s “CIO 100”, Aaholm’s previous experience includes 15 years of information technology work at FedEx Services. The new role will entail tailoring the digital structure of the company to the needs of its customers.

The power technology corporation comprises several segments such as manufacturing engines, power generation equipment, new and alternative power technologies, and several more components. The 102-year-old company has over 60,000 employees all around the world.

AIG Hires Claude Wade as Executive VP, Global Head of Operations and Chief Digital Officer

American International Group (AIG) hires Claude Wade for the triple-packed role of Executive Vice President, Global Head of Operations, and Chief Digital Officer. Wade has considerable experience in the CX area of insurance, coming over to AIG from BlackRock, an asset and investment management firm.

AIG is a global insurance organization, providing various insurance options and other financial services worldwide. As a client-oriented company, operations and digital evolution are a priority in AIG’s platform.

Independent Financial Hires Bill Wade as Chief Digital Officer

Independent Financial is opening a new Chief Digital Officer position and enlists Bill Wade to lead the bank’s digital and information technology solutions. Wade has 35 years of financial and banking experience, which includes 11 years as CIO. His duties will include managing a team responsible for streamlining IT solutions for the company, such as automation, integration, innovation, and analytics.

Independent Financial provides banking services for a wide range of clients. The financial institution recently ranked #6 Best bank in America by Forbes.

Voya Promotes Bill Harmon to Chief Client Officer

Voya Financial restructures its senior positions, including moving the President of Retirement Corporate 401(k) Market to the role of Chief Client Officer. Bill Harmon will be responsible for the sales and distribution teams in addition to client relationship management.

Known as America’s Retirement Company, Voya deals with planning and investing customer savings for retirement needs. Among other accolades, the Fortune 500 company was named one of the 2020 World’s Most Ethical Companies in the US Financial Services sector by the Ethisphere Institute.

Impossible Foods Hires Steve Turner as Chief Experience Officer

Impossible Foods is taking its place in the movement to create more CX positions, with the introduction of a Chief Experience Officer role. The chosen trailblazer is Steve Turner, former creative director at Apple’s Media Arts Lab, as well as similar positions at Nike and Adidas.

Impossible Foods is the leader responsible for the Impossible Burger; the company’s goal is to create plant-based meat and dairy that appeal to meat-eaters in all aspects, without resorting to animal ingredients. Recently debuting its first national ad campaign, Impossible Foods has also been named one of Time Magazine’s 50 Genius Companies. It is planning to continue expanding its team throughout 2021 all around the world.
