Eli Lilly and Company Hire Diogo Rau as SVP and Chief Information and Digital Officer
Eli Lilly and Company are bringing on Diogo Rau as the new SVP and Chief Information and Digital Officer. Rau has experience with tech strategy, having worked as Senior Director for Apple for the last 10 years and as a Partner with McKinsey & Company before that. He will lead the company in its strive for harnessing digital capabilities for the improvement of efficiency and the consumer experience.
Eli Lilly is a pharmaceutical company founded in 1876. It developed the first commercially available insulin, Iletin, as well as being among the first to introduce treatments for pernicious anemia and oncology, and produce polio vaccines, antidepressants, and antibiotics such as Penicillin-G. The Lilly Cares Foundation Patient Assistance Program also helps eligible US patients who are struggling financially to afford their prescribed Eli Lilly medications.
Scott Credit Union Promotes Wendy Erhart to Chief Experience Officer
After nearly two years as Chief Operating Officer, Wendy Erhart becomes CXO of Scott Credit Union. Erhart has over 20 years of experience in the finance industry, having previously worked at First Bank, Reliance Bank, and American General Finance.
The Scott Credit Union is a financial cooperative founded in 1943. The Illinois-based institution currently provides financial and banking services in 26 Illinois and 3 Missouri counties. It was named a St. Louis Post-Dispatch Top Workplace for 8 years in a row in 2019.
8×8, Inc. Hires Walt Weisner as Chief Customer Officer
8×8, Inc. introduces its new Chief Customer Officer, Walt Weisner. Weisner has extensive experience in customer success and a range of CX delivery in SaaS companies, working with Zoom, BlueJeans Network by Verizon, Mavenlink, and Birdeye. As CCO, he will be responsible for improving the company’s CX support and services, as the world moves towards providing more remote work options.
8×8, Inc. is a SaaS of cloud software and communications systems. It provides software solutions such as video conferencing, VoIP, contact center, chat, and other digital communication and collaboration services.
Aviva Hires Cheryl Toner as Chief Customer and Marketing Officer
Cheryl Toner will be filling the newly-introduced role of Chief Customer and Marketing Officer at Aviva. After holding long-term positions at NatWest Group, AXA UK, and Lloyds TSB, Toner will become part of Aviva’s group executive committee. The CCMO will be overseeing the company’s growth and transformation with a marketing and customer-led approach.
