ARA and QUT Join Hands To Launch Consumer Insights Research Hub

The Implications Of Massive Consumer-Behavior Shift

ARA- the Australian Retailers Association has partnered with the Queensland University of Technology to introduce research identifying changes in customer behavior in the retail sector.

The strategic partnership is aimed to understand the impact of a massive transformation in consumer behavior after Covid-19 hit the world. The association will be headed by Gary Mortimer, a professor at the Queensland University of Technology. The research will also provide insights and understanding about the retail section of Australia.

Paul Zara, Chief Executive, ARA while accepting the change in the consumer-behavior post-pandemic, emphasized the significance of deep understanding and said that it is important for retailers to understand this shift and be aware of how this change will impact their businesses.

A Hub For Better Understanding

The two partners have also agreed to create a hub on consumer research and insights that will provide various versions of the study along with offering thought leadership on the new trends dominating the consumer-behavior.

Professor Mortimer said that this is an honorable opportunity to work with ARA and grab a better understanding of the customer mindset and its effects on ARA.
