Bed Bath & Beyond has tapped Oracle to assist the company with its enterprise resource planning and leverage Oracle Cloud to get new insights, replacing its legacy systems. The enterprise aims to better its customer service through improved decision-making and planning capabilities.

As per a press release, the ERP effort is the first segment of the $250 million investment of the company to get technologically-upgraded and to offer a better customer experience. Further Oracle Cloud ERP will also offer real-time financial insights to allow the company to take better strategic decisions. 

Analytics and Automation to Help Achieve Better Management

The investments in technology by Bed Bath & Beyond are further focused on using analytics and automation to assist the inventory management, product life-cycle management, and retail segment of the company. Besides, the launch of an array of Owned Brands along with real-time tracking of the fulfillments in the supply-chain is also going to be a part of investment-purpose.

 John Hartmann, COO of Bed Bath & Beyond, said that Oracle’s leadership in the tech-area will enable the enterprise to serve its customers more efficiently, thereby improving the effectiveness of the business. Jon-Michael Roman, The president of Buy Buy BABY, also looks forward to the partnership for continual innovation and improvement of the business.
