New Hires in the CX Space: May 3, 2021

Nymbus Hires Trish North as Chief Customer Officer

Nymbus has recently filled several CX-related executive positions. The new hires include Trish North as CCO, in addition to Michelle Prohasla in the position of Chief Compliance Officer, and Crina Pupaza as Chief People Officer. As Chief Customer Officer, North will be leveraging her experience in the financial and technological sector to further the company’s work with providing its customers with optimal experience.

Nymbus provides innovative digital solutions for financial institutions who want to launch their own digital banks. Through a range of apps and integrations, Nymbus offers a customizable platform to enhance service delivery for credit unions and banks. Clients include FACILE by Pacific National Bank and BankMD by TransPecos Banks.

Capitolis Hires Callie Reynolds as CCO

Capitolis brings aboard Callie Reynolds as Chief Customer Officer. Reynolds’ experience includes senior account management roles in companies such as Oracle and Experian. Her responsibilities at Capitolis will include planning strategy updates to encourage growth and customer retention. Reynolds was named one of the ten New York Business Journal Women of Influence in 2020.

Established in 2017 and based in the US, UK, and Israel, Capitolis provides software services to various financial institutions. It is a SaaS platform that focuses on providing capital optimization and trading efficiency. Recent investors include Citi Bank, J.P Morgan, and State Street.

SheerID Hires Anjanette Hill Mendoza as CCO

SheerID introduced its first Chief Customer Officer role and appointed Anjanette Hill Mendoza. Mendoza has extensive experience in the CX industry, backed up by previous executive customer success positions at companies such as DroneDeploy and Glassdoor. She will be responsible for implementing personalization strategies to improve customer loyalty.

SheerID is an identity verification software that collaborates with businesses and brands that wish to offer special deals to their customers. It works through identity marketing, segmenting the targeted audience and cross-checking customer eligibility based on credentials provided. Clients include Amazon and Spotify.

Columbia Sportswear Hires Skip Potter as Chief Digital Information Officer

Columbia Sportswear has introduced the new role of Executive Vice President, Chief Digital Information Officer, bringing in Skip Potter to fill it. Potter’s experience includes similar roles at Nike, Capital One, and BT. As part of the role, he will be responsible for Columbia’s digital development and omni-channel streamlining.

The 83-year-old company was founded in Portland, Oregon, and continues to be based there. Columbia sells outdoor clothing and apparel worldwide, with several brands – Sorel, prAna, and Mountain Hardwear – grouped under it.

RipCurl Hires Michael Scott as Chief CX and Data Officer

Rip Curl has appointed Michael Scott to its new position of Chief CX and Data Officer. Scott is coming to the role with experience at such companies as Sweat, Myer, Virgin Australia, Nike and McDonalds. His new responsibilities at Rip Curl will include UX and digital growth at the sales end.

The self-described “Ultimate Surfing Company” was founded in 1969. With its roots in surfboards and wetsuits, it currently produces and sells a wide range of surf-inspired clothing, watches, equipment, footwear, and snow gear. Rip Curl currently manufacturers and trades in more than 9 countries around the globe, and ships to many more.
