Tripadvisor and Reckitt Join Hands to Boost Traveler Experience

Aims to Support Millions of Businesses In Hospitality and Tourism Industry

Tripadvisor, the known travel guidance platform announced that it is joining hands with Reckitt, to encourage confidence among travelers and prepare the hospitality industry to meet the customer expectations during the expected surge once Covid-19 is under control.

The partnership focuses on the creation of a science-based advice model that aims to educate the accommodation providers and food outlets to follow best practices that boost the customer experience. The companies are also taking this opportunity to further promote the specially designed Lysol disinfection and sanitization kits through an eCommerce portal. 

Cleanliness Emerges as Top Priority

Nearly 64% of the US customers said that cleanliness has become an important parameter for them to judge the quality of service being offered to them and make travel-decisions.

Christine Maguire, GM/VP global media business at Tripadvisor commented in a press release that according to their research cleanliness has become a crucial factor for consumers as they get back to dining and traveling. Maguire also added that by utilizing this data-insight, the brand hopes to support hospitality and tourism businesses together with their trusted partner Lysol.

Reckitt will leverage Tripadvisor’s global web-network to promote the new Lysol kits and a dedicated page has been created to initiate the sales and share educational materials about the kits.

The new disinfectant initiative synchronizes well with Travel Safe, a Tripadvisor initiative launched last June to allow travelers to find healthy and safe accommodation and travel options.
