Konica Minolta Opens New Customer Engagement Center in APAC

The new CEC gives customers live and virtual demonstrations to make their engagement immersive

Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia is about to open its new Customer Engagement Center (CEC) in Malaysia. The new 8,106 square-foot center shows the company’s interest in strategic investment into the field of the industrial printing business.

With digital printing gaining popularity, the new CEC allows customers to experience printing solutions from Konica Minolta that can fulfill the new-age and dynamic requirements.

The customers can now view how the machines turn their works from the digital format to life via real-time printing on traditional print applications like such as books, jackets, mails, and so on.

A virtual tour of the Center is available for the customers in the initial launch phase that can be viewed from homes or offices. An in-person representation through scheduled appointments over the Virtual Showroom platform makes the experience immersive for customers and is a part of the company’s holistic approach in the “new normal”.

The one-to-one demonstrations from the experts focus on the key features and applications, showcasing the multiple benefits their advanced center can bring to businesses.

Digital Printing Expects a Consistent Growth

Digital print is expected to grow as it enables a greater variety of print customization. Also, digital printing is more economical, allowing the content to be closely determined to the end-users. With the next generation of presses focusing on productivity and quality to enhance their position in the tough market, the digital share is expected to grow up to 19.3% by 2022 from 15.7% (2017).
